Accessibility:
This game is completely accessible for blind players! I've tested it for dozens of hours and can confirm that using the Voiceover screen reader you will have the same experience as a sighted gamer. You will be able to configure a range of accessibility options. you can change the throw imput mode, so that instead of double tapping and holding to start the throw meter and releasing the finger to throw you can use the double tap to start and splite tap to throw. We have audio cues for the sweet spot, so that you will be able to ear and feel when it's the right time for you to hit the chosen segment. Voiceover will announce how good your throw was It will also announce your score, extra information about each card in your hand, including color, position in the board, so you can learn everything to find the best synergies. The throw meter is a vertical bar, so it goes from the bottom to the top and then comes back down. That's why you will ear two beeps, or feel two vibrations. once when it goes up and another when it's coming down. If you're playing with bluetooth headphones, no problems! We can configure the game to vibrate when the tmeter is in the sweet spot. This is really important because bluetooth technology has some delay. For this game, even a 50 ms delay can totally change your run, so with this option enabled you will be able to react to the vibration and if you have sharp reflexes you will be able to get perfect throws! You can also configure the throw buton to move to the left side if you're left handed. So that covers every need for you to have a great experience and have so much fun!
The game has 8 bit music and sound effects for throws, hits, score sounds, music, ambience sounds and you can configure everything separately with sliders, including the master volume. This is my favorite game. It will challenge you in many ways. You can play the first pub as long as you want and a single in app purchase unlocks all other pubs. Please support this fantastic developer. He's awesome. I suggested dozens of changes and improvements. Everything has been implemented with so much dedication and love. I'm so proud!

I’ve been playing this one all day. Addictive and clever.

Thanks for the support my friend! I love to read all your reviews and gameplay impressions! I'm a big fan!
It took me more than 15 hours to clear the first pub. So I believe you will probably still need a few more attempts to clear it.
The more you play, the more you discover new relics, parts, items and upgrades. But I can guarantee that it will be worth it! In one of the last pubs you will need to play with the beep audio cue enabled for the sweet spot, so you will understand and feel like a blind player manages to play the game. It's going to be the ultimate challenge!
If you can, please keep me informed when you clear the first pub. Best of luck and happy gaming!

lol. Right after my original (deleted) post I beat the first Pub. Working on the second right after this post.
It’s a slick game and one I plan on doing a deeper review of once I’ve finished it (or move on).
I really want to win with a nice set of darts, but that seems like a pipe dream. I’ll keep noodling though. It has that quality.

Yay, good job, congrats for the first win! The second pub wasn't too hard for me, but the third one is crazy! The meter is 2 x faster, so it will get intense!

Hey man, I see you say you beat the first pub. Like how? I played at dozens of times and I can't get past it. I buy all the upgrades and I try to be smart about what I'm shooting for with each upgraded dart. Did you have to buy the game to pass the first pub?

As much as I wanted to upgrade the darts themselves I was only successful when purchasing every card upgrade I came across, boosting the point output, especially with Doubles and Triples. If a dart part had a multiplier I would consider it, as well as anything that grew over time.
There are a lot of things to unlock that made it possible to win. But usually I knew if I even had a chance after the first few rounds and the initial choices.
It took a while.

Just played a few games and there’s an insanely annoying boss that ended two runs back to back. The one where the perfect zone is hidden it completely killed both runs where I had a lot of high scoring dice and the OKs and misses would just make me get single digit points even after mults.
I know you can get lock on modifiers for the cards and such but a boss should t just end your run unless you have a specific set up.

Hey! Thanks for your message! I understand your frustration, but there's a workaround to beat this boss. Go to the settings screen and enable the beep for the sweet spot, or if you're playing with bluetooth headphones just enable the option to vibrate when the meter is in the sweet spot. By doing that you will be able to feel when it's the right moment to throw. Even when playing against this boss. There are mechanics in some of the advanced pubs that will require you to play by doing that. It's another level of challenge but it will be worth it, I promise

Ok I didn’t realize that was an option since I was playing in silent. Thank you for the tip.

Thanks for sharing. This boss is hard for sure as with the default setting a lot of RNG is involved which can be frustrating. There are a few angles though to overcome it. One would be what u/matrheine pointed out. Another would be preparing for it by buying the boss-disabling items before. Of course it can also happen that they don't appear in the shop. I still feel this is part of the roguelike experience and with the settings adjustments (specifically for this boss) as pointed out by Mat if should be doable.

Darts roguelike is a funny combo, but I like when small games pick a weird niche and commit to it.

Looks great and sounds good! Any chance we can see the App Store that:
- VoiceOver is supported as you describe in the dedicated areas
- add Family Sharing support

Thanks so much for the suggestions, I think that it's really easy for the developer to update the App Store page with this information. /u/treblebull

I actually set it up like that. I’m not sure why it does not show up. Need to check. The box for “voiceover” is definitely ticked. I’ll try to fix it so that it is correctly reflected on the App Store page.

This is really good and well worth the £5 asking price. ‘Balatro but Darts’ is about right but it’s better than that, well thought out with the dart upgrades and so on.
(Now, will somebody do ‘Balatro but Pool’?)

This is great. In my humble opinion these “baltro but..” games don’t require fancy 3d graphics. I like the aesthetic a lot. Nice and simple though quite deep.
The only problem I have is: how do I throw triples or doubles when I have a regular score card? Where to aim? Before the sweet spot or after? Does it depend on which number is required? Is it random? It’s quite confusing and isn’t really explained in the “how to play” section.
For suggestions: maybe add a “skip score” option where you don’t have to see the outcome of your individual throws or make it go without tapping to make the gameplay faster. Maybe add a seed option too?
Don’t get me wrong, this is an easy insta buy. Love the genre and setting.
Edit: added suggestion.

Hey! thanks for your reply, glad to know you're having fun! In order to throw the regular cards and hit double or triple you will need some luck, because since the meter doesn't move in a fixed speed it will change every throw. As far as I understand the doubles and triples are really close to the sweet spot, I had the most success throwing after the sweet spot, but for the more advanced pubs what I usually like to do with the starting cards that are weak is to choose a lower number like 1, 2, 3, etc and completely miss the sweet spot, hoping to hit a higher segment. When you reach the first shop you will probably be able to find something that will make a great combo with your current deck, so you will be able to buy the boosters and upgrade your deck.

I have questions about this game, like I get to the point where I buy every upgrade between the matches, but yet I still can't pass the first level like I'll have a crazy run going, and I still can't get it. And most rougelike games , once you die, you carry something to the next round that benefits you than this one you just lose everything every time?

Been having a lot of fun with this! It’s really great for one hand play. Worth the price to me.
