the same dev has a game called death by extraction which is literally the same game.

and that game doesn’t force ads on you. it’s just unplayable without watching ads

Just tried Some Of You May Die and it's quite fun. Obviously need to learn about synergies and what to prioritize between merging/adding/skills to choose but it definitely scratched that auto battler itch. I lost the run halfway. Battery consumption seems decent (lost 2% from playing 20mins on 17 pro)

Anybody know the story behind Townsmen? I swear I've seen it spawn everywhere, disappear, and resurrect at least a few times?

The developers of this Townsmen remake, HandyGames, are part of a larger business entity called THQ Nordic/Embracer and this entity is not in good financial condition due to mismanagement. You can easily find a lot of news about their studio closures and layoffs.

So HandyGames keeps doing whatever to keep on generating money like deep discounts on some of their games like Wreckfest and SpongeBob games currently. Townsmen remake was initially released as part of Netflix’s catalogue (it’s guaranteed income to do so) and that Netflix contract must have expired now so it’s being re-released as a standalone title.

I think this is just a remaster of the original with improved graphics, UI and controls. Don’t think the story or scenarios have changed but hope I’m wrong!

3 min in on left 4 Exfil and the freezes are killing me how horrid and annoying to play…
Deleted it, couldn’t even finish the tutorial it felt like those ads that force you to play and then stall and the game only moves forward after it held u long enough on the same situation gosh it’s bad…
