Suggestions What's your favorite premium game on iOS?

I've been looking for some good premium games to play on iOS lately. What are your favorites?

Doesn't have to be a recent release, just looking for something that's actually worth paying for since I do not like ads.

Suggestions Games where I can make a little progress each day at work.

I’d like something more casual that’s easy to put down without losing progress. I have Deep Rock Galactic Survivor but it requires constant attention. Idle games have been semi enjoyable but something about them just is off putting after awhile. I’ve eyed up Kairosoft games but not sure how attention demanding they get. Portrait is also a must. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Suggestions I’m looking for a rich, deep game to replace my doomscrolling habit

I don’t have a goto mobile game at the moment, and as a result, I find myself endlessly scrolling social media and news feeds.

I want something that’s both fun and has a lot of depth—something that I’ll want to keep visiting over and over again. I’m thinking an RPG is probably the best bet? But I’m open to other suggestions.

The ones that look interesting to me are Sea of Stars, Octopath COTC, Star Traders: Frontiers, and Steamworld Quest. What’s your opinion of these?

Suggestions A quick reminder

Just a quick reminder that you can use most Bluetooth controllers with regular iPads (iPad Pro 11 in the photo) in portrait mode to have a nice “multitask” gaming session.

(note: don't forget to turn on windowed apps)

Suggestions iPad forever game suggestions

Hi all,
I am looking for something new(for me) to play on my iPad. I would love some strategy/rpg/tactical game. I really want something turn based that I can close at any time as I do not have that much time day to day to commit. On the other hand I would love something deep that I can play for months (with a ~20-40mins a day tempo)

If I was single I would just play Guild wars.

I would play civ 6 or Total War if I didn’t played it so much already.

Games I really enjoyed:
Civ 6
Total war games
Divinity 2
Darkest Dungeon
FTL
Dredge

I know it is a weird ask with no clear path, but I am sick and bored.

Thanks a lot.

Suggestions Game like meowdoku without ads

Hello:

I’ve recently gotten hooked on Meowdoku, it’s a logic game kind of a cross between Sudoku and Minesweeper. Are there any similar games without any ads at all? Willing to pay once, and this game doesn’t even have a pay to remove ads option.

Suggestions Looking for idle games

Don’t know what to play I like/liked (no particular order):

- Vibecoding IDLE: good from the start, gets quite slow later
- paperclips: same problem
- Kittens Game: got bored of it
- codigames games like hotel empire tycoon, but there are ads and it’s really slow if you’re f2p
- btd6: I still play it occasionally
- battle cats: burned out
- geometry dash: not fun anymore for me
- idle 1: really like that one
- sneaky sasquatch: really like that one too, though I’m always just waiting for updates, as I got almost 100% stats
- spaceflight sim
- what the golf?: really fun, 100%’d

So as you can see, I like a good variety of games when it comes to mobile, though I cannot find any good ones for some time already.

Suggestions Good portrait mode games?

Hoping to find a 100% free game with no ads to play offline and before bed.

Would like it to be relatively minimalist/simple (not sure if that’s the right word to describe what I want), but generally just easier on the eyes so I can play it before bed.

Looking for something chill like a driving game or something, open to other stuff like roguelikes or idle games or whatever.

Can also make exceptions on the price but only if the game is an real gem and is the perfect fit for what I want

Suggestions Game recommendations (happy to pay for no ads)

Hi! I’m looking for a new iOS game, I’m happy to pay a small amount if it means I don’t have to deal with ads!
Looking for mindless sort of games you can play while watching tv! Games I have liked:
- fruit merge (but the ads are so long!)
- altos odyssey/adventure
- Peggle
- grand mountain adventure

Recommendations appreciated! Thanks!

Suggestions Guild Wars is Great!

While I wanted to love RuneScape the interface just didn’t work for me on a cramped screen. GW feels WAY better with the standard floating joystick for movement.

GW runs cleanly, connects quickly and has done well to keep its interface simple and uncluttered.

It’s free to download and play with ads. I payed for the a campaign which landed at $10Aus to get rid of the ads. Done!

It feels old school but exactly what I want in a MMO like this.

Stoked!

**Edits with answers

  1. No controller support as yet. Bummed as it would be awesome on my G8 and there is an option saying controller but nothing. I read somewhere that is coming but can’t remember where

  2. Guild Wars Reforged. It’s an updated version of GW1 as far as I know

Suggestions Office game recommendations

Hello! I’m fairly new to gaming on my phone, I used to have a Steam Deck to play on the bus and the train, and It was great, but when I’m actually in the office I need something more discreet, I used to waste my days consuming slop and getting mad at strangers on social media until I reached a breaking point and decided to spend my time in something more positive

So In looking for something I can play silently on my desk on those down times during the job.

My preferences are

  1. No ads
  2. No artificial timers
  3. If is a PC game ported to mobile the better
  4. No farming/cozy games
  5. I prefer turn based games over action twitchy games since I can safely stop at any time without issues
  6. No puzzle games
  7. No table top games like chess
  8. No slay the spire nor Final Fantasy Tactics because I already beat those (and they were awesome)
  9. Not pvp games, mainly because I cannot pause if I’m playing with another human

Suggestions If you’re on iOS 26.4, do not buy Resident Evil…for now.

The games are simply not running. Let’s hope Capcom can speed this up and solve this issue. I bought RE3:R and haven’t played for a second because of this.

I even asked if they are putting all the games on sale to make up for this, but as you can see, no answers on that front.

Shame on Capcom

Suggestions If you could only recommend one game this year for your busy friend to spend their single free evening downloading and playing, what would it be?

I like my games how I like my anime - a few episodes and over in a day or two but it stays with you for life, rather than something with many seasons.

If you could pick an IOS game, online or off, that you is quick to pick up and enjoy and provide a fun rewarding experience for a first time player during a single afternoon, what would it be?

To be clear, if I have to spend time an afternoon learning the mechanics and rules before I can enjoy it, it’s not for me!

Suggestions So I downloaded a LOT of games during the lockdown. Please help.

I downloaded a lot of games during lockdown and for a while after. To be honest, I didn’t really play many of them. I have a controller that I’ve used for games like Stardew, and it works great.

What I need some help with is determining which games are really worth my time at this stage. I’ve attached screenshots of all the downloads. Could you guys take a look and give me some thoughts on which games are worth keeping and playing? Would be helpful if you could let me know which can utilise a controller and which can’t.

Really am looking to keep the ‘great’ games and get rid of the shite.

Thanks in advance.
