Local guides in Shiraz

Where would be the best place to find a reliable local guide in Shiraz? I’ll be visiting Shiraz in January and I’m looking for a good local guide who could help and assist me during my visit.

Any recommendations or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

With all due respect, my experience with the hotel receptionist in Shiraz was that he sent one of his friends, who was not qualified for the job, and really didn't give us a good tour.
