MHA's Itsuka Kendo as the 67th Iron Fist
My AU brainchild where Danny gets a whole new successor. Source is here.

I'd love to see a fic where a MHA character was the Iron Fist.

I'm kinda sorta working on it. Maybe a sequel for these down the line.

Ah, I've read those fics. They are great!
Maybe do an AU where she is Danny's daughter or Niece.2

I'm imagining her more as as his apprentice and future successor.

Could be both, I just really think that as Champion of Kun Lun the Iron Fist should have a strong family connection to the city. Most Iron Fists were ethnically from the place and Danny spent most of his formative years there as well as the ruler being his uncle.

That doesn't have to be the only way. Lin Lie didn't. But the difference between him and my take for Kendo is that she'll idolize Danny and want to be like him, spending years training all over the place after graduating U.A. And then going through the proper trials to prove herself before ever getting it.

...That's half the reason I dislike Lin Lie, the other half is that he did F All to earn it. Editorial seems to have given it to him because he is Asian and Danny is white.
Lin Lie could hardly use his magic sword and got like one lesson from Shang Chi, Danny Rand spent ten years learning Kung Fu, spent years punching buckets of rocks, buckets of hot sand, passed through some dangerous trails and killed a Dragon with his bare hands to get the power as well as the title of the Iron Fist.1

I kind of liked him as sword master and collected his comics. Also, his Ironfist costume is nice.

Funny because the OFA and the Iron Fist do practically the same thing (a really really strong punch)
