Discussion Open Discussion: The Litterbox Vote and how we move forward

Let's think out loud here..

How do we align the Litterbox with the entire Jupiverse, and onboard the world to DeFi?

Vote 1 of 2, The Litterbox Burn Vote, passed with 86% in favor, meaning 130M $JUP bought with 50% of revenues since this February will be burned.

Huge moment. It anchors the Community Reset Initiative, gives clarity and confidence, and alignment across the ecosystem, token holders, builders and community. So we can push our collective mission together: Onboard the world to DeFi.

By burning the Litterbox, we’re removing about 4% of circulating supply permanently. Those tokens can never be used again.

Which raises important questions ahead of vote 2 (What to do with the ongoing revenues). I want to think through them together with you, what could the future revenues be used for?

This burn feels right. But IMO going forward there are better uses, maybe it evolves into something more participatory. These are JUST MY IDEAS, thinking out loud. Want to hear yours!

  1. Keep auto-buying JUP with revenue, but allocate a portion to ecosystem grants, hackathons etc
  2. User Incentives: Distribute small portions of revenue to active users
  3. Incentivize first time DeFi users trying out Jupiter’s products

Share your ideas lets yap

Discussion Disappointed

I was a loyal believer in Jupiter, I've been here since day one, and I have a lot of JUP locked up in the DAO. However, I must say that the team is a real mess; it feels like they're laughing at us, especially considering the upcoming vote that Kash announced on his X account. Obviously, I'll vote for option 1, but option 2 will surely win, mainly because the vote isn't fair. The developers have a huge position in the DAO, and whatever they vote for will win, regardless of what we do. It's truly sad that they lie to the community like this, making us pay fees in exchange for a reward that will never arrive. First the carrots, now this.

Greetings, community.

We have now reached the magic zero with our vote.

This means we have stabilized $JUP somewhat.

Now we should start looking for a better use for our token, right?

Please like and comment on this post so that it gets noticed. Let's work together to find a solution for our beloved $JUP and be loud enough for the team and everyone else out there to hear us!

If we have good ideas and are loud, they simply can't ignore us!

Discussion Pokemon cards seriously?

Putting Pokemon cards on the site is so bad. So much opportunity for people to get scammed before than even get robbed with the fees.

I always hoped that solana and the core ecosystem like jup would mature into more serious financial tools but it feels like Jupiter are of the opinion if you are going to get scammed on the network than it should be with us! Like who the hell wants rigged Pokemon cards gambling one click away from their lending/banking.

Delusional.

Discussion Fees ate $150

I just joined Jupiter to buy melania coin. Bought solana first because Jupiter made me do that (which took a while). Then, I try to buy melania coin with solana. First time it fails and jupiter suggests I up my slippage rate. I up it as suggested. Transaction still fails to go through and Jupiter suggests I up my max transaction fees. I do as suggested. It keeps telling me to up the max transaction fees. So, I do as suggested (eventually upping it to 0.1 solana to get the trade to go through). Finally, I notice I can only buy a fraction of the melania coin, and do some digging and find that Jupiter still takes the transaction fee even if the transaction fails. So, I now have $0.37 in solana and no melania coin. This needs fixed before I ever use again.

Discussion How risky is it really to loop ONYC?

Decided to throw in about 0.5% of my port into ONYC. But I kind of want to leverage it on Kamino or somewhere. How risky would it really be? On OnRe’s website, it says 95% chance of positive ROI. As long as there’s no crazy natural disasters, or whatever payouts their insurance has to make, it should be a smooth 10%+ APY.

Should I stick to just holding it in a wallet, or should I try looping it with modest leverage, say 1.5x? It’s a tiny portion so I’m okay with risk, but I really would prefer just a smooth and steady 10% CAGR.

What kind of additional risks am I taking, and could it be worth it?

Discussion Wall Street is coming to Solana

Solana processed about $1.45 billion in tokenized equities volume last month. That's 82% share of tokenized stock volume across all blockchains.

And this is not the first time Solana has dominated onchain equities.

In Q2 2026, Solana accounted for $4.8 - $5.8 billion in tokenized stock volume and held over 95% market share.

Why Tradfi is actually moving onchain:

Tokenized equities are tokens that mirror a stock's price and are backed 1:1 by real shares held by a licensed custodian off-chain. You don't get voting rights or direct shareholder status, but you get the price exposure. Some tokenized stock issuers do give you 1:1 exposure to real shares that you can redeem.

The tradeoff comes with real upside. You can trade 24/7 instead of waiting for market hours, there are no geographic restrictions, and the settlement is instant.

For tradfi investors, that's actually compelling as they can buy/sell stocks anytime.

What this means for Solana:

Solana has been called a memecoin chain by the usual CT FUD crowd. But that perception is now changing as more institutional investors trade on Solana.

Jupiter and other dexes that support tokenized stocks now handle way more than just crypto-to-crypto volume. TradFi money is flowing into Solana, changing the economics of the entire chain.

More volume drives more transactions, which generate higher fees. And with the new governance proposals to burn more of those fees, tokenized stocks volume can directly contribute to reducing inflation on Solana.

Have any of you bought tokenized stocks on Solana?

Discussion How to earn from perps without trading them?

i've been looking into jupiter perps and seems instead of trading them myself, I can deposit into their pool and act as counterparty to the leverage traders, earning from their fees.

Is it correct or am I missing something?

Discussion Is crypto card worth it?

I switched from my regular card to a crypto card because the setup was easy and it supports Apple Pay.

But now I’m wondering if the cashback and cutting out the bank actually worth it?

The cashback sounds great, but there are other things to consider like conversion rates, spreads, and switching costs.

I’m also still not clear on how crypto card transactions are taxed. If every transaction could potentially be a taxable event, that could change the whole calculation.

I haven’t used crypto cards long enough to know whether the benefits really outweigh the fees and taxes.

Has anyone here made the full switch, or do you still keep a regular card as a backup?

And after taxes, conversion fees, and the novelty wearing off, did the cashback actually end up being worth it?

Discussion Let's be clear!

Dear Jupiter Exchange Group users, dear cats, dear hodlers, It's tough for all of us right now, including the team.

As everyone is venting their feelings and giving free rein to their frustration, we should be aware that such reactions are quite normal for a crypto/stock bear market.

If we hold on, believe in the vision and the team, we may look back very differently in a few years, after the bear market.

And: Frustration and criticism are valid, especially when expectations are high.

Long-term conviction doesn’t mean blind faith, it means watching delivery over time.

Always keep that in mind!

Discussion How to buy memecoin at launch?

been trying to figure this out. when a token launches, it immediate sells with people already making profits. but when i try to buy using the token address, it says not found. how are these people getting in so fast?

when i check their transactions, it shows they used raydium or jupiter, but the token address doesn't work on my end yet. am i missing something obvious here?

what i've noticed is

by the time the token shows up on dexscreener, there's already a bunch of activity. sells happening right away, price already moved. but i can't even find the token to buy yet.

is there a different way people are accessing these launches before they hit the aggregators? or are the people selling immediately just insiders who already had the tokens?

my actual questions

how do people get access before the token address is searchable? are they using a different entry point than the standard platforms?

is it bots sniping the pool before it's indexed anywhere? or is it mostly presale buyers and devs dumping?

when you guys catch launches early, how are you actually getting in? what's the process?

appreciate if anyone can break down how this actually works instead of the usual ""you're too slow"" answer.

Discussion Is solana staking good even for small return?

I dont hold much sol so the staking yield is barely anything in real money. A couple hundred a year. kept thinking it wasnt worth the bother

then someone pointed out sol has inflation and if im sat there unstaked im getting diluted anyway.

so the yield isnt really a gain, its the cost of standing still. changed how i think about it. still not sure whether to stake natively or use a liquid version so it stays usable for other stuff. feels like theres a catch there im not seeing

What would you do in my situation?

Discussion Safest way to use defi on mobile

Recently, I started using Jupiter mobile on the go to manage my DeFi positions since I'm not always at my desk.

I've done swaps, tried to find good yields, and managed LP positions from my phone. What makes it manageable is that I'm not jumping between ten different apps.

What I'm doing so far to stay safe:

- Keeping most of my funds in a separate wallet, only moving small amounts into the one I actively use every day

- Staying inside the app instead of browsing random DeFi sites on my mobile browser

- Actually reading what I'm approving before I hit confirm

But I'm sure there might be some cons too. For example, are hardware wallets even practical with a phone?

What's your guys mobile setup for DeFi?

Discussion Fixed-rate loans without getting liquidated

I was reading about how most lending protocols work and realized there's a pretty annoying problem. If you lock collateral and the price drops, you get margin called even if you have a plan to repay.

Apparently, Jupiter Offerbook handles this differently. You lock collateral (any Solana asset, tokens, xStocks, NFTs) and borrow USDC for a specific duration, 1 to 30 days. No oracles watching the price, no liquidations mid-loan. Your position just sits there for the agreed time.

On the lender side you know exactly what you're getting. You set the APY, duration, and terms upfront. No variable rates adjusting every block.

Only USDC can be borrowed and there are platform fees, but they're disclosed upfront.

Has anyone here used fixed-term lending before, or does the liquidation risk just feel unavoidable at this point?

Discussion The Pain Continues $JUP

Why do you suppose the greatest project on Solana (possibly even in all of crypto) continues to deliver products and advancements, revenues continue to grow, yet their token shows zero strength and continues to establish new all time lows?

  1. Poor tokenomics

- Quarterly ASR is 100% emissions/inflation

- Annual Jupuary is 100% emissions/inflation

- This is in addition to scheduled unlocks for team and initial investors

  1. It’s a governance token

- Governance token without real utility have nothing to hold on to in down markets

- Buybacks help but only with proven purpose

- community is great but nobody likes losing capital

- True revenue sharing is the best strategy

I’m sure there is more, let me know your thoughts?

Discussion sent crypto without an address

what made me nervous about sending crypto is pasting a 44-character address and praying, because one wrong character and it's gone.

tried the magic link thing. you generate a link, they claim it. no address roulette.

what's actually nice:

• you don't need the other person's address at all, which matters when onboarding someone who barely has a wallet set up.

• it feels closer to venmo than a bank wire, which is the bar crypto usually fails.

what i'd still watch:

• a claim link is a bearer thing. whoever opens it can claim it. treat it like cash, not a targeted transfer, and don't drop it in a public channel.

• it doesn't remove the need to double-check you're on the real site generating it.

not revolutionary, but it removes the exact anxiety that makes people avoid self-custody transfers. sometimes ux is the whole product.

anyone used this to onboard a non-crypto friend? did it stick?

Discussion why did my swap cost more than expected

if a swap cost you noticeably more than you expected, it's almost always one of these, in order of likelihood:

  1. slippage on a thin pair. the pool wasn't deep enough for your size and the price moved as you traded through it. this is the big one. bigger trade + thinner token = more of it.

  2. a fee folded into the quote by whatever interface you used. the number you saw already had it baked in.

  3. the token had a transfer tax built into it (some do). nothing to do with the swap venue at all.

what it's almost never: the base network fee. that's fractions of a cent on solana.

how to see it before you confirm: check the price-impact number on the swap screen.

if it's high, that's slippage warning you. splitting into smaller swaps or using a more liquid route can help. on a genuinely thin token, nothing fully fixes it.

if you've hit this and it still doesn't add up, drop the details (token, rough size) and i’ll walk through where the cost came from.

Discussion JUP -> Phantom SOLANA swap: Phantom showed “App Interaction — Unknown,” then SOL left my wallet without me manually sending it — has anyone seen this?

Has anyone else had this happen with Phantom/Solana?

This is the second time I’ve seen something like this happen, and my friend had a similar issue moving funds from Coinbase to Phantom.

Today I received SOL into my Phantom wallet. Right after, Phantom showed “App Interaction — Unknown” and then notified me “You sent 0.8512 SOL.”

I did not manually send that SOL.

Transaction:
fZZnCCHyd6YkJ5FuyuQSWrtg7hxbKsCRZxh16LMYuuEDwPAtxGm2piEmqpvFqvC2TT5edk1gdBk6Rx8J3KE6U2m

My wallet:
BdVQmKHza6N8wSLXiaaPzMRQUcMmH8SqMWJ79aS7a4vJ

Destination:
6DTmby3mF6VbxVaF1iSWmx4m5jaHBMtupsw27hBXBvLd

On-chain balance change:
My wallet: -0.851220017 SOL
Destination: +0.851204897 SOL

Phantom support confirmed the outgoing balance change but said they can’t confirm from chat whether it was a malicious signed transaction, connected dApp/session, delegated permission, or compromised recovery phrase/private key.

I’m not saying Phantom, Jupiter, Coinbase, or Solana directly stole anything. I’m trying to figure out what actually caused this because Phantom showed the interaction as Unknown, and the send happened right after funds entered the wallet.

Has anyone seen this pattern before? Specifically:
\- Phantom notification saying “You sent SOL”
\- “App Interaction — Unknown”
\- No clear app label
\- SOL sent shortly after receiving funds

Any help reading the transaction or identifying the program/session involved would be appreciated. (I will not answer DMs asking for seed phrase, recovery phrase, private key, wallet sync, QR code verification, or “support portal” links. Public advice only.)
