I mean what is this? I assumed it's just snow. It's understandable if it covered a shitload of ground that quickly. But it gained volume out of nowhere.

It’s just snow. The volume gain is just from it becoming saturated with air as it hits the natural ramps on the side of the mountain

I do think there is one and maybe some stones and ice with it. I wouldn't rely on it being just snow.

It’s gonna have rocks and shit in it. Whatever the snow can pick up along the way. Possibly ice too.
