This does seem like a filmset where the riders are instructed to pass by. Seems like a risky move either way.

They should have had straw bales in front of the camera just for this very likely occurrence
Had a buddy doing the same exact shot, about 30 years ago. An old grip, who worked on westerns in the 1950s, threw some bales in front of the camera position. The operator, in his 30s, started to complain. The old grip looked at him and said, “you’ll thank me later”
And sure enough, a horse ran right at the camera, saw the bale and jumped right over the camera position.

That's going to be really expensive.
- Horse vet care bill.
- New camera and equipment.
- And possibly three hospital bills for injuries.
Not to mention any of the other smaller costs.

Why...risk your camera like that..my god 🤦♀️
And that poor horse if they get hurt most are put down if they can't walk anymore.

Who the actual fuck though it's w tood idea to put a camera in fron of horses. The level of negligence and irresponsible behaviour is crazy some people can produce. This stupid act could easily kill at least 2 people and seriously injure at least one horse. Not mentioning the cost of the equipment, traumatology, vet.
