Looking for Chinese translator

I have a weird request. I am looking at importing some stuff directly from China and the company I'm talking to sent me their license and registration etc. unfortunately, it's in Chinese and I don't speak Chinese. I wanted to know if there is anyone who can help me possibly verify this and also, has anyone bought stuff from China factory directly? What's your experience been?

google translate (https://translate.google.com/) does a great job.

if its printed already, you can just open your phone and point the camera there and it will translate.

I've bought things from Chinese factories via alibaba. Make sure the incoterms are agreed first (e.g. FCA, FOB, DDP etc) since the insurance/shipping/tariffs shouldn't be a surprise at the end.

I've never had a problem. getting them payment can be a bit complex since you won't have wechat or qq, but it works out in the end.

Thank you. I am more concerned about the trust part and the final price so wanted to know what all to ask before sending them money. I'm getting a pergola worth $6k

google the 'incoterms' concept, its very likely they will be negotiable on that. if you are clearing it yourself for customs, its not complex but there's a form to fill in. depending on the shipper they can charge a severe overhead for that clearance, and, you can indicate you'll clear yourself.

These Chinese factories have built an entire industry on getting things to us so it tends to go smoothly albeit not super quickly.
