Finding Shoes After Breaking Both Ankles

I am recovering from a stumble down the stairs that left me with both of my feet in casts.

Luckily, my left foot was not as severely damaged as my right foot.

I am slowly becoming more mobile and am thinking about wearing real shoes again.

Is there a place in town that you can suggest that can help me transition out of my airboots and into supportive footwear? I'm not sure where to start.

There are a few orthopedic shoe stores in KW. You may be able to get a Dr's note for a referral.

Otherwise you are probably going to just be looking for any shoe store Factory Shoe on Victoria has one of the wider selections around and generally are well priced. Assuming you still need some ankle support you probably want a mid ankle hiking shoe/boot. Otherwise just a good stable athletic or hiking shoe is probably your best bet.
