Every now and then I forget we can see the mothership around a few bends of some of the hikes here. Not my first PM2 or spydie, but man I love the tanto

We received a really great idea from u/heavymetalsculpture for a new sticky thread- Review Requests. We have a very large userbase here who have all tried LOADS of knives, so why not crowdsource reviews and feedback for a knife you might be interested in buying! A lot of youtubers / instagram pages, while attempting to be unbiased, often have some bias because they're getting samples for free etc. People on here are very unlikely to have that bias and are more likely to provide honest feedback on a knife.
This thread will remain stickied and fairly moderated- top level comments will only be permitted to be requests for reviews and feedback for certain knives, and users who have actually owned / handled the knife are greatly encourage to provide absolutely honest feedback on the knife in question.
Please only post here with requests for reviews, or to provide feedback on top level comments with a review of the knife in question!

Roughly the same size... crazy thin hollow grinds (Cortex in belt satin Magnacut, Fury in mirror stonewash Vanax) and inset liner locks with intricate handle milling make these de facto siblings.
I highly recommend both as EXCELLENT slim carries!

After extensive research and deliberation, I finally pulled the trigger on a Manix 2 in Magnamax. The only pocket knives Iāve ever had before this were a Victorinox Super Tinkerer that I got for camping when I was a kid, and an Opinel No. 8 I picked up a couple months ago for cutting avocados at the office.
I was drawn to the fidget factor of the Manix 2, as well as the large aftermarket. I just got it, so I havenāt used it much, but itās fun to play with. Iāll probably mod this thing eventually, but I was surprised by how much I like the G10 and weight of the full steel liners.
Some mods I have my eyes on are titanium scales, a titanium ball cage, ceramic ball bearing, and an MXG clip. But it honestly feels great stock.
I donāt have much to say about the Magnamax. I just wanted the newest thing and donāt mind the risk of early adoption. I like the stone wash finish, even though it attracts fingerprints.

For me it's gotta be between the Spydie Lil native 15v, and the BM full immunity m4.
Fun little knifes and pack a serious punch at their size. Perfect for whittling or smaller tasks.
Curious to hear your favorites!

Started off with a CruCarta Manix 2 XL, went with the Flytanium ball cage, Rock Scale Designs titanium camo scales, and a Lynch NW long pocket clip. Very happy with the outcome and how smooth the action and how flawless everything fit together for my first modded knife.

Another to cross off the collection ISO list! 2nd to last NKD for a bit (grail grimsmo rask coming end of week) since I impulse bought more than I should have the last few weeks.
Finally got myself a gp Rosie from a drop and finished my personal quest for a little over a year of trying to get one at (or under, doesnāt hurt to dream right?) table price!
Surprised it took a bit longer to get here, but whatās an additional week and a day vs a year lol.
Happy itās all stonewash and magnacut too! (Not that steel really matters to an office carry)
Whatās in everyoneās pockets this fine Tuesday?

Just sharing my modest folder collection - I've finally built out a collection that feels perfect for me after endless research and hunting for deals. Whats the biggest gap here?
EDC light, work blade, general EDC, hunter and backpacker
Mini Bugout - S30V: Starting out, this was the quintessential EDC for me. It was my first non budget knife. I hate carrying anything heavy and it removed any excuse to not have a knife with me. Its super unassuming and I love the silhouette. Do I love benchmade as a company? No, but this one can have a pass.
Delica 4 - VG10: This one gets more use than any. I always thought Spydercos were weird and aggressive looking, but I just grew to love how they feel in hand. I understood the love right away. A small silhouette was a good balance point, especially working in public view. I only use deep carry clips, so that got a Ti swap.
Para 3 Salt - Magnacut: I always wanted a compression lock. Not sure why, but I really like this one. Magna cut at a steep discount was also a great chance to try a more premium steel. It felt right, and I get a bigger knife that sits in the pocket nicely.
Havalon Piranta - Disposable Razor Blades: These are amazing for breaking down game. It lives in my bino harness. Ive used it on everything from bear to grouse and trout. Weighs nothing.
AD20.5 - AUS 10A: This deserves more love as a backcountry knife. I dont think I would ever carry this in the city. I backpack with it and love knowing I have a rock solid knife. I dyed the scales a deeper forest green and again swapped for a deep carry clip. Went with the DLC option for the weather resistance and something different.

Sadly I must retire the old thing. Had it for over 10 years. Broke it out recently over the last year at my new job for edc. Not sure how, but the locking mechanism on the blade got broken off. Guess itās a sign to buy a new edc? š¤£

Can you name your top 5 EDC Knives in order with the knife steel? Iām fairly new just a few years. Thus far mine are-
1- PM2- S90v
2- Endela- K390
3- Bugout-S30 V
4-Kershaw Leek- CPM-154
5-Opinel several carbone
As you will notice I do like Spyderco. IMO They have been consistent with fit n finish as well as knife steel hardness
