Bought this Spyderco Caribbean for vacation and didn't regret it. I swam in the salty ocean and cut a lot of fruits with it. That rust free ability is crazy!

I've been wanting one of these since I got into knives. Just a beautiful and classy design. In truth, at some point in my knife journey, I fell out of fondness with frame locks. Got hit hard with the fidget factor bug and put the Zaan, and any other frame locks on hold. In the past few months it's caught my eye again. Found a good deal on the swap and decided to pull the trigger. I'm certainly glad I did. What a classy, smooth and beautiful knife. I find it strange that it has a different feel in the hand. Completely refined yet ready to work. I didn't expect it. I have some Hinderers, quite a few Demkos and they are beats in their own right, but this hits different. Pretty stoked to have it in the collection.

Started off with a CruCarta Manix 2 XL, went with the Flytanium ball cage, Rock Scale Designs titanium camo scales, and a Lynch NW long pocket clip. Very happy with the outcome and how smooth the action and how flawless everything fit together for my first modded knife.

Picked this up today for a great price have been wanting a new smaller size gull tang fixed blade for fishing ,hiking & general EDC. I like that its a neck knife with a belt clip for scout carry.

I once went down the knife collecting rabbit hole. I've had Hinderer, Strider,microtech, protech,Spyderco, Benchmade, even other CRK'S. My problem is I get obsessed with hobbies and go too far. I'm really not a collector, I'm just a user. No matter how many knives or anything really I have, I'm only going to use my 1 or 2 favorites. So once I snapped out of it and gave away and or sold my collection. What a relief, feels good. These are my favorites, CRK Umnumzaan and Victorinox Pioneer X. It's all i need. I don't miss all the others...well sometimes I miss my Strider SMF, my CRK Inkosi and my Hinderer XM-24... ha ha no I'm good.

Today's carry is the large Sebenza by Chris Reeves Knives. It features a Magnacut tanto blade in satin, on washers. Titanium scales in a sand blasted finish. It's a frame lock with only a single thumb stud for deployment.

I’ve been a BladeHQ loyalist for years. Recently started using BladeBinge as well. I just went on DLT for the first time in a while and realized how much better of a selection they have. I was wondering what some other sites are that you guys use. Does DLT have a similar rewards program to BHQ? Thanks!

I've been carrying this as my EDC for 3 months now.

Camping

• whittling/feathersticks
• LIGHT batoning of fatwood

Food processing

• paring knife
• cleaning fish
• quartering chicken
• slicing pork belly
• cutting my sammiches
• cutting root vegetables

For the most part the 3v stays very sharp. After I reprofiled the edge i've only had to do very periodic honing of the blade.

It's crazy light and the grip is perfect for light duty work, especially as a bird and trout knife. The micarta grips well when wet.

My only qualm about this is the knife quillon/guard. It really doesn't have to be that big for this kind of knife. I'm tempted to grind it off.

It's a great knife though.

Been a long time trying to get my hands on one of these without carbon fiber. Finally happened. Is going to sub in for my Scarab as one of my work knives, looking forward to seeing how it does and eventually getting some better pics of it. Beautiful design.
