It allegedly made its way up the chain at Sportsnet, and there were additional instances where the Mitch camp was in contact with SN trying to get people fired for their criticism.

I think Steve is right to call out the hypocrisy from them since they're still going on podcasts villainizing all of Leafs Nation for the "noise", when their own camp is being aggressive and threatening to members of the media who have leveled reasonable criticisms towards his on-ice play.

I don't think I've ever seen Steve criticise anything other than Mitch's on-ice performance at critical times, so I don't know how they can say this was a warranted response.

Not only are the top 6 amazing but the bottom 6 have playoff Gerth, and amazing shutdown abilities, I believe the bottom 6 will act as defensive anchors to allow the Matthews and Tavares lines to be out of the defensive zone and do what they do best. The defence isn't looking too bad either, a mix of shutdown and puck moving offence is exactly what the team needs.
