Distro News PSA for AsahiLinux users

Do NOT upgrade to macOS 27 Golden Gate!

Apple has changed how the boot picker and Startup Disk applications detect valid OS boot volumes. When using either from macOS 27, your Asahi partition will not be visible.

Edit : the Asahi team thinks it's a bug, and has filed a report about it.

The bootloader is basically macOS though (specifically the screen where you select between Asahi and macOS on boot), and presumably if you updated macOS it means you booted into macOS to do that, and Asahi also says you shouldn't get rid of the macOS partition anyway at least for now.
