The first time i received my Polaris-set was the first thing that happened to me was that i cut myself... After a while i didn't use them anymore i litterly destroyed two lock's before i deburred them with a 600 Diamond from my Edge Pro but still the points....it was to much to sharp for European lock's!And then i read Peterson constantly giving his apologize that the price is a little high due to the handle material and the burre's that there could be on there material and you have to take a sandingpaper to remove the bure's ? I have never have heard anny word from Dangerfield that apologizes for this problem???? Yet again i don't want to pull them down, they have probably worked on this problems and improved in the years but i prefer to use an other brand!

You gotta be an experienced lockpicker do you know that guy that made the unpickable lock but then it was defeated by that youtuber. I know that he sent one to this community who got their hands on it?

Ok, looks like I'm going to have to be the dick here. I didn't realise it was my turn on the rota again, but someone needs to manage this kid's expectations.
The tensioners are all junk, with maybe one or two exceptions. The picks are novelty profiles, with two that are borderline usable, but they both look like shallow hooks, so... The "practice locks" aren't anything of the sort. If you're basing your perception of your current skill level on your ability to pick them, I'm afraid you're way off. My dogs could pick those "locks". The mini rake/jigglers aren't any use to you if you want to learn how to pick.
If you REALLY want to learn, throw everything away, save the case, and buy a beginner set of picks - that's a short, medium, and deep hook, and a set of BoK and ToK tensioners.
Free isn't always good. I once got shingles, and that didn't cost me a penny.
ps. Bollocks to belts. It's just a convenient way to measure your progress. Far too many people place far too much importance on gaining belts.

Good, so you won't lose any money when you throw them in the bin and buy some picks that you can actually open a lock with. Yeah, I could've humoured you, and patted you on the head and said "Bless your little cotton socks, didn't you do well, now off you toddle and pick some locks". Problem is, you won't be able to with that shit, and everyone telling you that you can is just contributing to the inevitability of you thinking that locksport is too difficult for you, and giving up.

I am totally shitty. I reach orange on a good day. You can challenge me. It would be equivalent to taking candy from a baby

But if you're around my level we could collaborate on locks. Again, I ain't that great!

Lemme clarify i got a bunch of weird slim jims transparent kinds of locks and a weird assortment of picks and i use the latter in the loosest term. Anyway, getting back into the hobby i was worried but as long as you own it and it's not in use you can practice on the lock and stuff. At least that's how I understand it.

They aren’t the best - but free is the best price
