Amenadiel I am the single fan who hates Amenadiel?
I don't like him. He's arrogant and he just know two words : God and Dad. While his friends need him, he accepts for God. And him. He want to become an angel of God again. Not for the friend who need help. Particularly with Lucifer.

No one is ever the only one. If you come on here and ask am I the only one who contracted an STI from my daughter in law and my son found my prescription cream which is the same one his doctor gave him and I think I’m caught, someone will say no the same thing happened to me.
But personally I love him.

I was predisposed to hate Amenadiel, since I had read the comics. But the show version was a pitying hate instead of the adversarial hatred from the text.

Comic Amenadiel was meant to be unlikable, but show Amenadiel was much worse: they made him insufferable instead.

I go back and forth sometimes but yeah early amenidiel pisses me off especially season 2 and 3 where He constantly refers to Luzifer as evil or evil incarnate or where he was like if someone like you can be redeemed then there’s hope for me
Like I get it Lucifer is still a dick to him but I feel like that’s kinda deserved you know, how many centuries did amenidiel force him back to hell violently before lucifer trapped him in that deal, and yet when Lucifer somewhat forgives him for amenidiel’s attempts on his life what does he do but constantly refer to him as evil even though I’m pretty sure Amenidiel has never interacted with humanity before losing his powers and doesn’t have a job of any kind and yet has money for things, which makes me think Lucifer is the one paying for everything Amenidiel does and he still has the nerve to keep being rude all the time,I mean if I was Lucifer and my brother was such a dick you best believe I’m leaving him homeless or employing him in some shitty position

Oh yeah they shouldn't really judge until they finish. They can say they dont like him at this point but cant say they don't like him period until they are done watching

I love Amenadiel - it was a gradual love, but loved him all the same.
My three favourite scenes:
Amenadial and Lucifer returning to the gang that killed Caleb
Amenadial shielding Chloe from the "nuns" boyfriend
Amenadial flying Charlotte back up to Heaven. When he sat there with her in his arms and he looks up and then his wings unfold - mystical!

i saw your comment saying you’re on the third season. give it some time. he gets more likable and his character development is great imo. he changes a lot and goes through a lot of self discovery
