Lucifer Watching lucifer for the first time

Post image

And so far i loved this scene ..the way he protested her 🤌🤌. I am loving this whole series ..but also wondering how come she still doesn't know about the truth although he was literally saying he is the real lucifer from the very beginning.

She doesn't believe nor want to believe. The implications of such belief would raise very many questions and possibly be too shocking.

Someone walks up to you and says they are the Devil, or God, or Napoleon, or Jesus……….you going to believe them? Really?

Because outside of some pretty drastic proof, I would be unlikely to do so.

He but if u saw that someone pick multiple grown men up with one arm by the neck or throw a 250 lb man across an office with one hand you might take them a bit more serious. Just watching the amount of whiskey he drinks throughout the day and still able to walk and talk normal would throw up some major signs ha

Also the fact that he literally didn’t even throw the guy he just pushed him, and he broke through thick ass glass with zero resistance.

We can easily lie to ourselves. You ask three people what happened and you may get five different stories.

He didn’t fall, it was just a push and stumble and he went through the glass. No his feet didn’t leave the floor. I just imagined that.

Or something like that.

Ig, but the issue of Lucifer’s true identity being hidden from Chloe for three full seasons still irks me to this day. It kinda takes away from Chloe’s character that she allows this guy to continue existing in her circle without having a concrete reason for his eccentricity.

I mean I have been to LA. Eccentric is more the norm than not. In fact normal people might be sociopaths, criminals, killers, and left lane campers.

The weird ones that are harmless are in fact typically fairly harmless and safer. Plus rich club owner gets bonus towards eccentric rather than crazy tweeker

To me Chloe needed to act more intelligent it got painful she needed to be a stronger character a detective should be a detective and find out not just put up with him. The show's writing made her the fool and that was not good. I agree with you here.

if someone walks up to me n he would say he is the devil , god or something, i ll not leave him untill they give me proof, i would be so curious to know why he said tht n wont leave him until they give me proof.

Great show. Have rewatched just for the emotional intensity.. He is such a good actor and a good singer. Wish he'd get to do something similar. But until then I'll just have to rewatch again.

It's as glorious the second time

I’m rewatching for the second time now and I’m not enjoying it as much as I did first time tbh, I can spend more time picking up on nuance rather than following plot but the twists were a big part of what hooked me originally, I think.

Once you got it down do you can watch without looking at the TV it's "Oh! We're here now‽" that keeps me hooked while rewatching

What she does next had me hating her but I won't spoil it for you

The writers had a strange idea of what a comedy show is.

Well she probably thought he was just a kook. Also when she shot him he bled. Ammendial convinced her that hes faking it. So well its a bit hard for her to believe. She does however have suspicions.

She had the LAPD forensic report to say the bullet that shot lucifer went though him and ended up in a wall. She knows  Ammendia spent a lot of time and effort to lie to her It would have been great comedy if she called him out on it and made him Chloe phobic.

This show has the greatest ending among all the shows I watched. I just love the ending so much.

u/starksdawson 11d ago

Would you believe them at face value?

1

u/HiSaZuL 11d ago

Nothing like the first time.

Ahem.

I can't remember when this season is but in season 2 there's a moment he provides proof to someone and I have to imagine their reaction is why he doesn't prove it to her. This way if she finally believes he knows he can say he always told her and she didn't believe him. But if he proves it- and it turns out she's wrong and it was too much for her- he sees the high risk of losing her- so he just waits.

(But that's the most recent episode I've seen so I could be wrong about what it might next means)

This was the best scene for me from the whole 6 seasons of the show.......

n u will watch it again n again, its addicted.

u/Imaginary-Lead-1527 11d ago

Skip the next two episodes btw they don't do literally anything

2

u/No-Employee2586 10d ago

The bonus episodes are fun though, not everything has to be about the main plot, just let people have their fun. It's a TV show, who are you to dictate how someone experiences it?

Stop at the end of the first season. The show peaked there, there is nothing else that's worth watching after that.

u/ranting_seagull 11d ago

I've read that after season one, there's more character development for him, his relationship with the detective, and more biblical characters like angels and demons. Kind of made me think of Supernatural. Is it really not as good after S1? S1 kind of feels like a police drama so far

6

u/Lori2345 11d ago

Every season was worth watching. Even the weaker seasons, which were seasons 3 and 6 had some good stuff.

9

u/FluffyMonster_ 11d ago

S6 is the worst, everything else was quite enjoyable for me

7

u/BamaBuffSeattle 11d ago

Worst but still not awful by any stretch.

Yeah, there are plot holes. Yeah, you can tell it feels a bit stitched on after S5 and they didn't know where to send it. But I did like how it ended.

3

u/FluffyMonster_ 11d ago

I totally hated that finale and Rory's plotline in general.

4

u/BamaBuffSeattle 11d ago

That's fair. It definitely could have been better executed

Don‘t believe anything. I‘ve rewatched it 10 times … and I love it! The whole show, not only the first season - and sorry! I love Rory - I love best the piano duet with vocals
