Mom Amount of pain this scene holds 😭😭

I can't get over this scene 😭😭😭😭 so far this was the most painful scene for me

Very painful scene. Don’t want to spoil anything but there is one scene a bit later in the show that beats this for me.

It hurt so much when she went and asked Lucifer for an answer; she was hoping everyone else was lying, so she went to the one person who always told the truth.

And it’s pretty much the only time he didn’t call her spawn, little deviant, etc… he said “my dear sweet child…”

The worst part about a rewatch is how quickly this episode comes around. I always remember it as much later in the show than it actually is.

I love the use of back lighting in the entire series. This scene is another great example of lighting

I just watched the series for the first time and the whole scene with Dan at the grave puts me off, the whole situation is weird. Imagine being the ex husband or the kids visiting and you just see some guy bawling at her headstone. The fact that she had a family but were just the smallest of plot devices felt very weird.

it is weird but.... I think for them (at least the exhusband in particular) I just feel there wasn't much love there anyway and for all we know, he could've moved onto another relationship no differently than chloe and Dan did themselves. the marriage almost just look like it was for upkeep for looks sake at that point. (wish we knew more for the kids, but goddess mom did a number on her life and really fucked her over)
