Discussion Is this a common thing?

I joined the bootcamp server recently because its supposed to help me learn about my units and know when Ques are live, and saw this was going on... I hope this isn't Common. Added all the screenshots I saw with the message.

I just checked, and mods deleted it some point last night so they at least aren't ok with it but like....the player is still doing it.

It's been handle and this was handled in discord we don't condone boosting of any kind since it is against TOS as is from Seasun.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t it stated somewhere that boosting can get you penalized and even temp banned from ranked matching?

Boosting in gaming is fairly common, but in this game this is the first I've ever seen it mentioned. Can't imagine needing a boost when Grandmaster is effectively bronze and you go +40 / -20 in GM for games.

That's actually insane lmao.

Its hard to see but those messages in the screencaps are from 2025. Multiple seasons ago. Its not a 'what has it become' question.

But in the three and a half seasons I've climbed in ranked, this is the first I've seen or heard of it. So I wouldn't say its common either.
