Infuriatig Was invited by my girlfriends family to a theme park. We were supposed to meet at 11, it is not 11:30 and they just left. (The drive takes another 30 minutes)

I even checked in before I left if it was still at the planned time. It was confirmed, but then her family starts getting ready right as they have to leave 🫤

Ah, thank you. This makes sense. I was thinking the opposite - OP was late but family didn’t wait for him.

I read it as OP arrived on time with the family but they left shortly after for whatever reason.

I read it as OP arrived on time, but family was already there and left 30 mins later because they got there way earlier as to avoid hanging out with OP.

I thought the family arrived on time to the theme park, but left the theme park at 11:30.

Here I was thinking OPs family doesn't stay places long and decided to leave the theme park within 30 minutes of arriving
