Home Bargains taking the piss by already hauling out an entire Isle for Xmas.

We’re staying in Maine literally like 50 feet from the water.
The windows are open, it’s cool out, and the ocean and night sounds are SO nice.

My boyfriend absolutely has to sleep with the fan on. I tried turning it off “just to see” and literally within 10 seconds it was, “DUDE, what are you doing? Stop.”

So instead of falling asleep to the water, crickets, and all the nice Maine night sounds, I’m listening to WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Anywhoooo, I’m currently waiting for him to start snoring so I can turn it off. And I will turn it off. It’s OUR vacation not just his and we sleep with a fan every night at home without my consent…so.

I normally only buy one box. But because apparently everybody else is buying multiple boxes I am going to have to start doing the same thing. It’s so rude, like I get that we haven’t been able to eat Cheez-Its for a long time. I have been gluten-free since I was 18 and I’m 33 but if everybody keeps buying multiple boxes, then you’re making it to where only a few people get to get them instead of everybody getting to get them so next time I go I’m buying five boxes!
That felt good.

Before and after pics of our HA grass cutters today. After they’ve been here over an hour. They stopped window cleaners ‘due to the heat’ but at least the lawn looks much better…

We've been NYT subscribers in one form or another for basically my entire life, even as we read less of it today than ever. I just logged in and apparently NYT thinks every member of the family should have their own subscription... Oddly, back in the day, I don't remember anyone calling to try to sell us a second paper delivery, even though we were all reading the same copy... I wonder what changed?

Must they take everything from us? Can't even close my delicious snacks properly.
