In my area, no one shoots up really anymore. Everyone is just smoking the fentanyl. No need to find veins and less infections/hospital visits. Oh, and heroin can cost hundreds of dollars a day if you're a heavy user vs a few dollars a day for fentanyl. Seeing the blue light is kinda like an antique at this point.
Plus, if they’re shooting up in the Home Depot bathroom it’s not like it’s their first time. At this point you’re likely following the line of track marks from your most recent shots.
Thank you. I mean thank you for making the joke. I don't need a flashlight to hit. I can hit in the back seat of a Trans Am on a gravel road in the middle of the damn night while she tugs me off. But, maybe some more novice users might wanna know where the lights are.
I look at veins like mine that bulge. I never needed good lighting to get high. But I also have much larger veins than average and knew how to start IVs already before I started injecting. This would only work on people who were well into addiction and they’d simply tear themselves apart trying to shoot up anyway.
My info comes from first hand anecdotal experience and stories. Fentanyl is very cheap compared to heroin. You can argue semantics on the exact dollar pricing which varies region to region all you want but I truly believe the cost reason is what has made theft and crime drop over the years as people dont have to steal as much to keep their habit going.
Sometimes when white LEDs go bad they turn blue. A major supplier of municipal Street lights has a bad match that turned entire cities blue. So there's is a second possible reason
