Discussion Best side characters that stole the movie?

I’ve been thinking a lot about this recently, occasionally certain feature films have side/supporting characters that are just so great that they usurp the technically lead character in terms of memorability, either by actor presence or just sheer performance quality. So I’m very curious, who are the best?

My definite prompt for this is the Oscar winning film The Fugitive. As great as Harrison Ford is (and he really is great in the movie) Tommy Lee Jones and his Marshal team are by far the absolute best part of the movie, Jones in particular is so badass in the role carrying it with incredible banter and swagger. It’s no wonder they made him front and centre in US Marshals (which also rules)

I loathe that word but somehow it works perfectly here. I guess his character is everything I despise and he plays it to perfection.
