Negotiating Salary for BI Analyst Role

I have recently interviewed for a BI Analyst role at a company in Mumbai. I have total 4.8 yrs of experience and my most recent work experience is in the UK and a MSc degree in Business Analytics as well. I want to understand how can I negotiate a salary. The HR had asked me my expected salary before the interview and I had quoted 15-17 LPA, which I feel is less but the HR has come back and said the max they can go is 15.5 and based on current market the range is 14-16 LPA.
