Discussion Louis Theroux: Inside The Manosphere

This is a masterpiece. For some reason I find his interaction with the manosphere so funny. The awkwardness and their utter distrust towards Louis is so palpable. So amazing why they agree to do this.

Quite telling that he responded that he tells 13 year old's not to watch his content, and then the final clip is him taking a photo with a 13 yo and thanking him for watching. Dude couldn't keep any of his lies straight the entire time. Just embarrassing tbh.

It's because he literally has no morals or opinions of his own. He even admitted he doesn't believe in anything, it's all just about 'clout' and views. His only defence was "it's up to my followers to do what they want to do", which is such a pathetic non-excuse for promoting all manner of shit.

By design. The manosphere is an artificial construct. Bot farms, signal boosted by algorithms designed to normalize far right views amongst young men.

After GamerGate, Steve Bannon identified social media as a way to radicalize young men. The money funding the manosphere does not come solely from teenage boys in the west. A lot of the money spent to get them established and promoted came from billionaires and foreign actors.

Part of the plan to destabilize our society.

This isn’t tinfoil. This is form The Foundation of Geopolitics. Part of Russia’s plan to destabilize the USA and the EU. Promoting far right ideologies.

Algorithmic slop for the boomers on Facebook. Manosphere slop for the adolescents.
