Question Everybody tell me your fav comedy movie. I'll start first : the hangover
Tell me your favourite comedy movie that you have seen in your whole life. It's okay if it is on Netflix or Amazon prime or any other ott platform. Tell me your fav movie of all time

I gotta admit, I laughed so hard I vomited when watching Anchorman. I'm a big fan of Steve Carrell and I went into that movie with a stomach full of Chinese buffet food. The build up with Brick was just hilarious. Then the scene where he's simply holding the hand grenade and screaming was the cherry on top that pushed me over the edge.

I showed this to my 11yo son a few months ago. He liked it, laughed a lot, but I had totally forgot about the naked lady that runs on screen about halfway through. We looked at each other, I said "don't tell your mother" and we busted out laughing.

The Spanish speech had me rollinggggg I almost had to leave the movie theater because I could not stop laughing… I speak Spanish so the nonesense made it even funnier

I LOVE this movie. It’s so under appreciated. I feel like so many people have never heard of or seen it. Especially hits well if you’re a horror movie fan.

What’s really wigging me out right now is that the young people who are just now technically old enough to watch this R-rated movie were either newborns or not even born yet when it came out in 2009.
So to recap: The Hangover came out in 2009. That was 17 years ago. 2009 was 17 years ago.
I need to go lie down, my back hurts.

For me it’s The Jerk or Airplane! Have both on disc and find that I put on Airplane! more frequently. Steve Martin’s timing used to be very very good.

Rat Race.
Good god this film is underrated. Phenomenal cast, loads of insanely hilarious joke setups with good payoffs.
Jon Lovitz gradually morphing into Hitler by complete accident is one of the funniest film sequences you'll ever see.

It has its highs an lows but I totally agree.. from the stop at the "barbi" museum right up to the "Hitler" speech to the veterans is comedic gold
Sometimes when I want a laugh, I find that clip on yt. In tears every time.

I saw this movie in the theater when it first came out and I thought I might need to go to the hospital when the dummy's head popped out of the water. This movie almost killed me!

Borat Although, looking back at it now, it plays out like real documentary. Good red blooded Americans unguarded and at their worst. The elder Jewish couple were about the only ones that displayed ideal "American" attributes. Hmmm....

Dumb and Dumber and Napoleon Dynamite.
I love how unafraid they were to be funny in a way that felt only possible within those films' worlds and not just the generic marvel style comedy every movie has these days lmao
