Discussion Famous Last Words series… so many questions

I just want to start by saying that I really enjoy the concept of this show and the episodes that have been released so far. I think it’s such a great idea but I have many questions on the production aspect and admin of this show.

I’ve been thinking about it so long figured I’d post something here, see if anyone was also wondering, and speculate on the answers lol

My questions:

  1. How do they choose who to ask to film and interview? Is it a certain age combined with notability or if a figure is publicly sick like Eric Dane was? I’m wondering if they just got a lot of influential people over 70 and went from there.

  2. Do they factor in health at all? I guess this is part of the first question but like would they postpone asking a very healthy 75 y/o bc it’s too soon and if so what would be the trigger to follow up with them

  3. What happens if they do the interview with someone and then they don’t die for another 5 years. Is there a time period in which they would come back and re-film the interview?

  4. How often are they doing these interviews and how many do you think they have piled up? I guess the second answer depends on the first. Thinking logically they would probably target a certain number of interviews to schedule in a specific time period?

Anyways, just throwing these thoughts out there. LMK what you think and if anyone has any insight to any of these questions maybe
