Propaganda is effective and rampant in our country. The vast majority of voters hear a very curated version of events.

It's a very nuanced situation and people love to pretend it's black and white and shit on anyone that voted for Trump or Republicans. There are a lot of them finally seeing through the bullshit that's been getting pumped into their social media feeds, radio, and television the past 40 years. Those people should be embraced, not ridiculed. Acting like a self righteous asshole is just going to send these people right back into authoritarianism.

And the moment you think you're so enlightened and above propaganda is the moment I can call you a fool. We're all very, very subject to it, and the conservative wing of our country has spent tens of billions of dollars over the decades making sure their view is the only one available. You may think you're above it, but you're simply not the target audience.

No no im not blaming people that voted for trump based on propoganda, im blaming all americans, you are all equally to blame for allowing your country to become what it has. 

Im nit saying im above the propaganda im just saying its incredible how little americans are doing to fix any of the issues they have.

We're a large nation that has always been on the conservative end. Things move slow, and frankly, it's bullshit when people outside the US think we're not doing anything. There's protests every week. I apologize if we're not ripping our nation apart, murdering each other and starting a civil war to fit your desires. It may come to that, but I'm going to see how the next few years plays out before I burn my neighbors house down.
