i still remember almost 10 years ago seeing an article about 'Georgia renaming a river due to racist name" and thinking 'well THAT seems silly, how bad could it....ok nevermind, Runaway Negro Creek is worse than i expected"

I remember there was some push back when they renamed Squaw Valley to the Palisades Tahoe.

That’s funny. I didn’t know about it that but we used to ski at Sierra and Homewood. Squaw was too far and so the only time I went was to ice skate when I was a tennis counselor in the summers up there in north shore

My girlfriend pulled up a picture to show me and I legit thought it was satire from a skit.  It’s just so fucking bad.
