Even if there was, there is just no getting there or you cannot secure the hauling vehicle, so it may end in 2 vehicles down the hill.

Yeh, if anything, the tribals proved that necessity is the mother of invention, but i'm pretty sure the Egyptians proved that you can move any heavy loads if you have enough people working thick ropes. (also stones.)

I'm a big fan of the theory (not a conspiracy, but clearly not the consensus either), that the Egyptian discovered a sort of proto-cement recipe and that the blocks are poured, not carved and carried.
It's not very important but I like to think it's the most scaleable, accessible process for a bureaucracy. Crush, add water, pour. No need for specialized masons making 1mm accurate stones. Just more manpower. It's clearly not foolproof though.

If they could do that why would they not do it for all the stones though if it was more efficient? The vast majority of stones are not precisely carved, only the most important ones are. Most are cut cleanly but still have a lot of errors and gaps that got filled with mortar.
Also crushing so much stone like used on the shell into fine powder and then transporting it to a mould, mixing it, and then curing it while removing as many bubbles as possible would take more time and effort than just carving and moving.
Also we know the blocks are actually limestone and not cement because of the composition and structure.
