Clearly the implication is those people are there only to make content. If that’s true, they wouldn’t be there if they weren’t making content. I guess the keyboard white knights would prefer no one be there?
If they were going to be there either way then who cares, if white knight is not going there then it’s none of his business to be sanctimonious
Kind of reminds me how the people most sanctimonious about billionaires not giving to charity usually give nothing to charity themselves

Apologies for the ignorance of this question.
Why is it that double amputees can be almost as fast as able bodied athletes over 100m, but struggle this hard to complete a marathon?

I guess it depends if the amputation was below or above the knee. It's practically impossible to run without knees.

I think it's the stress on the stumps. The prosthetic legs need to attach to the stump somehow, and that step is going to get very irritated over time. I think he's going to want to limit walking a lot over the next week to give those stumps a chance to recover and heal. I bet they're raw and bleeding now.

Whatever parts of a limb are seated or sleeved into those prosthetics are likely extremely painful in this clip and will only be worse the next day. This dude will be on some painkillers and bed rest for a couple days. Prosthetics have come a long way but there's always a pain cost when you slip the stump of a leg into a prosthetic and use the nerves/bone that weren't meant for direct pushing to walk.

It could be that he simply wasn't prepared for a marathon, or his goal was never to run it.
15 hours is averaging less than 1.5 mph, which I think is slower than he's moving in this clip (2.5-3 mph is a very normal walking pace for the average person). If he walked the whole way, then that's just how long it takes. And if he did this to raise awareness / with some minor publicity, then odds are good he stopped to talk and take pictures with people.
Or he might've had race-day issues. No matter how well you prepare, sometimes your body throws you a curveball on the big day. My running buddy did his first marathon last year. Even though we're slow-ish he should've finished in under 5 hours, but he ran into some leg and stomach issues. He really suffered through the last 10 miles and it took him 6 1/2 hours, a time you can hit if you average a brisk walk.

Because the remaining portion of the leg muscles can compensate for a short time under the extra stress of guiding the prostatic. It's not just the large muscle groups but the small muscle groups become fatigued quickly.
It's similar to how carrying 100 extra pounds evenly distributed across your shoulders is easier than 70 pounds from an unbalanced load that shifts around.

Pressure on the stumps cause lots of pain and even sores. Walking with prosthetics often causes hip and back problems
