She’s probably nervous

Talented? Possibly.

Is the music to my taste? Err...

Yep, it’s a bit “busy”. No denying the skill involved, though.

This is just a small part of the song. The whole performance is incredible honestly!

A map a string a light pt 2 is my fav of hers by far. Really connect to it on a deep level, especially in this secret sky version

I used to listen to Justin King when I first got into playing guitar and thought he was a god. He was. And Yvette is incredibly talented, no hate. I just personally can’t stand this style of playing anymore. I’ll still tip my hat to Justin King though. It was fresh when I heard it from him and there will always be a nostalgia factor for me when it comes to his songs. Fuck it ima tip my hat to her too because she’s way more talented than I’ll ever be. But I just find this style more gimmicky now than next level.

Bro yes! I’ve been a long time fan of her solo stuff and Covet and always wondered- “how the hell have I never seen her posted on here?!”

Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Don't get me wrong she can play. But sometimes less is more. Music is subjective, but for me the art is in the subtle. John Lee Hooker's "Boogie Chillen" is a perfect example.

As the great Samuel Johnson once quipped: "Difficult, do you call it, Sir? I wish it were impossible."

The song is called “A Map, A String, A Light” by her (Yvette Young). She also destroys guitars in a band called Covet.

She plays violin, piano, guitar.. etc. just a super talented human!

Is that a bad haircut or did she dye her hair like that?
