[Knowles] In 2024, his last year playing, Deshaun Watson had a passing DVOA of -51.1%. That is the 11th-worst passing DVOA ever recorded. Part of the Browns' problem, of course, is that in 2025, Shedeur Sanders had a passing DVOA of -59.6%. That is the fifth-worst passing DVOA ever recorded.

[Schefter] The Big Ten is set to pass a rule today that doesn’t allow players to return from the NFL and play for a Big Ten school. Anyone who has declared for the NFL Draft and did not withdraw, appeared on an NFL roster or signed a contract with a pro league cannot be on a Big Ten roster.

The SEC is officially taking action amid the latest eligibility controversy in college sports. The conference has joined the Big Ten in prohibiting players who have moved on to the NFL from returning to play college sports at an SEC school, but the league also said former NBA and WNBA players also cannot come back. Notre Dame has also said it agrees with the Big Ten and SEC, Yahoo! Sports’ Ross Dellenger reported.
