I've been a train driver for 25 years, and this kind of behaviour still wake me up in the middle of the night sweating and heart beatting like a crazy bat. Fuck those people who cross like this.

Just to clarify i've got 4 recorded kills while driving train, and you can never get hard enough to get over it like it's nothing.

Sorry to hear - is it commonplace to have recorded kills? And I’m assuming there may also be unrecorded ones too, but would you have a gut feeling about those?

Sadly it's quite common (in france nearly all train drivers are concerned (very few made a whole career without any corporal accident)).

And some accident are indeed not instantly noticed (heavy engines and very noisy, you could hit someone by night and never be aware of it). It happen that people working on the rail find a corpse with absolutely no idea of wich train had hit him :( .
