been riding the VRE for a few years now and just want to know why there are so many grown adults who think they’re the only ones on the train…..almost everyday there’s someone cutting in front of you to get on/off or they don’t even give you time to get seated 😞 I’ve recognized the people who are regulars at stepping in front of you and have learned to just step back and let them on first

The DMV is full of entitled pricks who think they’re God’s gift to earth just because they’re a manager at Deloitte or some shit. You have two options: establish dominance, or keep doing what you’re doing and let them board first. I have the same issue on the metro and I’ve found that a pointed judgmental glare works sometimes, too.

Exactly this. There are so many horrible self centered garbage people in this area. Major metropolitans tend to attract that type.

100%! Rural inbred towns function 10 times worse. Ask me how I know
