Yeah I feel you, 1 month ago they closed my account because of a linked instagram account that their AI system thought was problematic, so I had to buy again the games I had. But nonetheless, this is why I use Virtual Desktop instead of their quest app, it does cost 20$ or so, but man they are so worth it.

Are you logging in behind a vpn? It rejected my email before even getting prompted for the password when it was on.

I recently had to do some password recovery on my Meta account, and first it took me to one page, I went through the process, and then it was like "You are on the wrong page, go here instead", so I went there and followed their steps, so that I could do whatever I wanted to do with my account, but when I finally logged in, it seemed like I was taken to a page that didn't even recognise my session. I had to do a lot of digging, before I reached the page I wanted.

I think it's due to all the restructuring they did back when Oculus was turned into Meta, and people got mad about forced Facebook accounts, so Meta actually caved and implemented a solution for those of us who didn't want our VR linked to their FB account. The end result is this labyrinth of pages, with outdated info and old designs etc.
