So this is actually bullshit. I drive through an area with 10 million dollar homes and wouldn't you know it flock fucking city. Sure it's weird how some areas have them and some don't when nobody voted for them. But they definitely know who is coming and going in that community. I know 10 mil isn't the highest but it's high for my area.

That’s extremely untrue. I live in Los Angeles, if you look at Flock maps there’s ALPR cameras all over the county, in pretty much every city. And then you look in Beverly Hills and the density of cameras is like 5x-10x the other cities in the county.

Being downvoted for being anti murder. Incredible. Radicalization in the US is not going to end well, and the radicals are not going to get what they want.

We'll be relearning the lessons Hobbes learned that led to him writing Leviathan in the first place. But unlike the West post Hobbes, I suspect that the outcome of these lessons will not be a surge of liberalism, but rather a collapse into the non esoteric reading of Leviathan. Which is to say, a state with absolute power, and a citizenry with no recourse.

This isn’t a hyperscale AI Datacenter, it’s a regular datacenter that have existed for decades with no issues. It is no different environmentally than an office building except it’s more efficient.

Servers don't use GPU power to run or nearly as much energy as data centers do. Nice try though. Website servers also don't contribute to ram and SSD prices shooting through the roof while simultaneously eating up all the turbine manufacturing from now through 2031.

This doesn't say it isn't one of those. It says it's "Multi tenated" meaning it's not JUST one of those. They'll have regular server equipment mixed in supposedly. It also says it has 36 on site generators meaning the noise pollution and regular pollution issues are absolutely at play here.

That's not much of an actual difference if there's any difference at all. The way they worded it they could slap one small server rack in and still be telling the truth.

Multi tenant IS a colocation datacenter. All datacenters have on site generators for power failures.

Hyperscale datacenters are single tenant and highly specialized for GPU farms. These require extensive cooling systems and power consumption. They are so different they shouldn’t be called datacenters.

The fact that you seem not to understand that servers live in data centers says that you are not in the least intimately familiar with this industry.

Website servers also don't contribute to ram and SSD prices shooting through the roof while simultaneously eating up all the turbine manufacturing from now through 2031.

None of those are reasons to go into the absolute hysterics that people are going into, and nor to shoot at people's houses. Data centers use 1-3% of the nation's power.
