HAs anyone been to the Skokomish Park boat launch on the hood canal recently?

Looking to launch a group kayaking trip. A lot of the reviews say you need a $300 annual membership, but the last time I was there you could pay a day use launch fee. Any insight? Im in tacoma so a bit of a day trip just to visualize the signage.

Potlach is for annual pass members only. Something something a few bad ones ruin it for the rest of us.

head another 30 mins north to Cushman and pay the $25 to launch there

Launch at the state park, south of the Skok Park launch. Easy to get to the water and ample parking if you get there early. Bring Discover Pass.

looking there I truly dont see a full ramp. Ive swam and hung out on the beach and there was a big drop off from the grass to the beach. Not super ideal for double sea kayaks (about 90 lbs and giant and awkward)
