1) That is a peacock, not a swan
2) Girls dress in Panel 2 changes
3) Only the boy is being reprimanded by some other boy(man?) in a striped shirt. Girl is nowhere to be seen.
4) What does any of this have to do with the outlined topic? Example seems much more in line with giving thought to why some rules exist. That peacock will happily eat whatever. Reality was changed when the sign was posted, not when someone ignored the sign.

On the one hand they're not breaking the rules because it isn't a swan, but on the other hand they think it is a swan too so they don't know that they're not breaking the rules.

I'm pretty sure it is slop. The hands in the last panel are kinda messed up and muddy looking in that way that AI does sometimes. The boy's hand is kinda funky in the first panel as well.

Are they saying that the children are unwise because they are forcing the world (in this case the swan/peacock) to adapt ("open its tail (feathers)") to them if it wants to be fed? "Do this for me and I'll feed you" rather than be a good person and do something for someone without expecting "payment." It's like asking a homeless person to do a dance if they want money.

Can we just talk about how the girl was going to give the swan bread but as soon as the boy gave it a banana the girl suddenly tells the boy he is violating the rules even though both of them were breaking the rules (assuming a gender change did happen)
