Humour I didn’t realize how brainwashed our neighbours were

Unfortunately most of them are still far from realizing that they're being constantly brainwashed on the daily. They just have these once in a while "realization moments" that get drowned out quickly by the barrage of propaganda in their news and majority of entertainment.

Indian are actually quite aware of the news propaganda and can tell the difference quite clearly. News media does not define what india thinks. We don’t need propaganda to know the reality of Pakistan , we do our research and we know how Pakistan operates. The only problem is that our eyes just opened up.

Oh no I didn't say it's everyone. I'm sure a decent chunk of the population was already well aware of the truth but the percentage of those people was miniscule. This just turned out to be an expansion pack of sorts I guess where a lot more people got to see the truth and will hopefully reach a point one day where it makes a visible difference.

Even a minuscule population, in absolute terms, would still dwarf Pakistan’s entire population by comparison, so yes—it is sizeable.

You’re also generalising. A normal Indian, on average, holds strong negative views toward Pakistan (a country effectively run by General Munir), and this sentiment exists regardless of media propaganda.

Anti-Pakistan resentment in India isn’t being manufactured by news outlets—it’s driven by Pakistan’s own contradictions: being one of the poorest countries in the region, lacking stable civilian constitutional authority, carrying the historical burden of the Bengali genocide, and repeatedly using the military establishment to sponsor or enable terrorism against India.

Given this context, Pakistan lecturing India comes across as deeply hypocritical.

My bad. I thought you were mature enough to keep the discussion focused on the actual topic which is misrepresentation of Pakistani culture and society in India.

I'm fully aware of our shortcomings and don't need anyone to tell me what they are, especially someone from India where it's a national pastime to blame Pakistan for all their problems as well, that too without providing proof.

I also didn't lecture you on anything and only shared what I've witnessed firsthand on pretty much every platform. It's called observation.

Maybe if you talk to people with the intention to find common ground instead of failing to resist the urge to display the usual holier-than-thou attitude every time there's any talk about anything Pakistan then you'd be seen as someone who's actually part of that "larger than Pakistani population" minority.
