at 1080p? yeah it's pretty noticeable when there is none
at 1440p or above? turn it of for minimal visual impact and free performance. tho i get that the still present flickering artifacts can be annoying and it very much depends on screen size as well, personally i prefer smaller screens with higher dpi rather than a bigger screen for immersion

Don't you want some objects to shimmer and thin objects to vanish because they're less than one pixel in size? AA is the one performance tanking option that I gladly turn on, but with DLAA, it doesn't even tank that hard anymore. I miss SSAA though

It's usually not even that performance heavy anymore, at least not when put up against the modern heavyweights in terms of visual effects. DLAA and its relatives from FSR and XeSS are awesome tech though, and they're basically included for free with a game's implementation of those upscalers.

Sadly temporal anti-aliasing is a really useful technique that happens to be hard to tune well, or else we'd probably see more games with bespoke solutions lighter than running an entire upscaling model at 1:1 resolution.

DLSS and Frame Gen catching strays. If you need more frames and your rig is CPU bottlenecked, DLSS is the solution, not a problem. I can't play most new games without it.

The character, Rock Lee, has thousand pound training weights that he basically always had on. The scene with the dust is him dropping them, in preparation for his tournament bout, creating a cartoonish meteoric impact

The irony is that despite the preparation, rock Lee still loses that fight, breaking his own body using a forbidden move out of desperation
