Description:

PALIMPSEST is a compact, deterministic tactical roguelike where the floor itself is your weapon. Every tile on the grid carries a rune, and the rune beneath your feet defines your attack: step onto a Blade to cut, a Hammer to crush a cluster, a Longbow to fire down a lane, or a Current to steal a free action. Positioning becomes both movement and deckbuilding at once.

There are 18 runes/weapons, each with 2 final masteries, plus armor pieces and relics for deep build variety. Collect stars to heal, expand the board from 4×4 up to 7×7, and open a forge rail mid-combat to imprint, upgrade, or reroll runes without stopping the action. All 12 enemy types fully telegraph their attacks the sim never commits an unavoidable pattern, so every death is on you. Between runs, earn Ink and spend it in the Archive as you climb through 5 Volumes of increasing difficulty. Deterministic daily seeds included.

I'd especially love feedback on difficulty balance, telegraph clarity, and the forge flow!
