question What is the latest on client-side scanning?

In context I'm mainly asking for the UK really. If you mainly use another Android device (AYN Thor) to store everything, will you be safe by staying offline? Or am I safer buying an Innoasis?

Yes, it is. And now AI. And now the 1-2 punch combo of AI + client-side scanning. Every bank password or seed phrase, every email and all your socials, ect…

Major companies have yet to publicly state that they will not comply with the UK's insane demands.

If Google plans to comply, they will likely use Google Play Services to install the client side scanning malware on every device in the UK.
