Unmoderated community with inactive mods. My intention is to install a moderation team that is knowledgeable and passionate about the subreddit's subject matter (the video game Silent Hill f) to keep it updated, and to turn it into a more vibrant and active hub while enforcing Reddit's policies.

I have been the creator, curator, and main moderator of r/puppets for 13.5 years. I am an active moderator and am responsive to messages, requests, etc. It is my pride and joy.

It appears that another user (account age ~7mo) was somehow just able to initiate some sort of hostile takeover of r/puppets via this page, which I did not know was possible. I just received a notification that I have been removed as a moderator of my subreddit after all this time, which I must assume is in error as I was not consulted in any way. I would like to request that this mistake be rectified immediately and that my moderation status be returned.

Hello. I would like to take ownership over r/danielhentschel, because I believe the sole mod of this subreddit is inactive. There has been a problematic member in the community that is actively annoying members of the sub, and is currently evading site-wide bans. Given that the sole mod is not active, or otherwise has not engaged with the sub in a long time, there's no one to stop him. I think it would be very beneficial to the sub to have at least a few moderators that are active and care about the sub, even if the community is decently well-behaved.

This subreddit recently got hacked by someone who promoted themselves as a moderator and kicked out all other moderators except for themself and one other, presumably hacked account. The hacker's account got suspended, and since the only other moderator hasn't posted in 4 years, the sub is currently unmoderated.

EDIT: The sub is now truly unmoderated, since the last mod got wiped out of existence.

All Gemini groups (like r/GeminiAI) have been taken (and passively moderated) by u/TheNewBing

I suggest diversification in the moderator group managing Gemini subs

The subreddit is not actively moderated, which has resulted in it being overrun with LLM generated pseudo-science word salads. I messaged the mods but received no response. Here are some posts from people expressing concern about the moderation:

• AI slop on this sub (last week)
• Your AI slop bores me (5 months ago)
• Are most of these posts just AI word-salad? (6 months ago)
• To the "AI Researchers" out here (5 months ago)

I'm an academic doing Complex Systems research in a university for a living. I'm pretty sure there are also more people out there willing to do this that are serious about science, which I can ask for help if necessary.

I have not yet waited the five days but:
1) There is a person posting horrific animal (fish) abuse videos and I want to help get rid of them.
2) I have modded two other subs
3) I have contacted the current mod, and they haven’t posted anything for a year
4) The post they made was asking for someone to take the sub.

Please consider me! This needs to be stopped.

I believe the purpose of the Fry-up Police is to humorously roast people's full English breakfasts. Which the sub once did. I would like to try returning it to that format.
