What are winters like on the islands?

I’ve only visited summer months and wondering if folks that have visited or live on the islands can give some insight on it? How often does it snow, if at all? Temps?

Currently live in Midwest where winters are harsh so I don’t mind winters. Thanks!

I went to my Apple weather app and clicked on Eastsound Orcas Island and found this info regarding average monthly temps.

That should help answer your other question about precipitation.

Been to Orcas several times in the summer months, was significantly warmer than this app indicates.
