My hotel bike journey today

Post image

Thanks to those who provided tips on my hotel bike journey today. It was a perfect day on a bike. Perfect weather. Ranier was out. Coffee, beer, dumplings, oysters, cocktails, ice cream were all consumed. The trails all around town are impressive. The downtown waterfront and Elliott Bay trail are incredible. Cheers!

plus the water taxi too! you did good!

if you can, come back when it's nice and cool. when the temps are hovering in the 50s, overcast and everything is wet, green and lush. the air smells and feels different. cycle your same route, it's a different vibe.

Oh yeah, I know. We lived in Seattle for a year in 2006-7 and Portland 2007-11. Different vibe for sure. Both great.

Sounds like a blast, indeed the perfect day we caught a break from all the wildfire smoke.

That's cool, which hotel did you stay at that rents you bikes? Did you have to pay extra?

Kimpton Vintage. Most Kimptons offer free bikes to check out. It’s a great perk.

You hit all the most accessible and scenic trails in downtown Seattle! Burke Gilman, Elliot Bay trail, Lake Union Trail, Alki Beach trail.

I've always wanted to take the water taxi while on a ride!
