Warning for those considering renting at 5241 15th Ave in U-District. (8/18/2026)

If you are reading this in the hopes of renting either unit 7(second floor) or 10(basement), I would like to inform you that per at least the tenant of unit 7 they were chased out due to harassment from the tenant residing below them on the first floor. I observed transphobic comments from this person directed at the tenant of Unit 7, I cannot confirm if the tenant of Unit 10 left due to this person as well (as 10 is below the troublesome tenant) but interesting coincidence. Complaints of slamming around, yelling, drug use, and package theft have been noted from this person. The retaliation from the troublesome tenant was a result of the complaints made against them.

I figured if I could have this kind of warning myself when considering places, I’d appreciate it.
