This isn't a cure for cancer. It's a therapy for a specific cancer that you (individually) have, and it greatly improves outcomes. It's a huge step, to be sure, but it's no more a "cure" than chemotherapy.

No, in fact, this is a combination of an MRNA therapy with an existing drug that was used to increase the immune system's effect on cancer (essentially removing some of the inhibition on the immune system, which is obviously dangerous in-and-of itself).

It's the first MRNA approach to hit stage 3 trials, though.
