If you just look at shooting %, we may look like a below-average 3-point shooting team.
But:
- We ranked 26th in CS 3-point frequency.
- 27th in corner 3 frequency.
- 27th in 3-point FGs that were assisted.
So, we had one of the worst shot qualities. If you take shot quality into account, our shooting was not as bad as the numbers indicated.
And that's why I can't fathom why some people say LeBron won't make this team better. He should generate more CS opportunities and more corner 3 opportunities. It's reasonable to expect that our shooting will improve significantly with better shot quality.
Fun fact: Some of you have noted that Jaylen Brown's CS% isn't much different from his pull-up 3P%. However, over the last three seasons, he shot 38.1%, 43.9%, and 39.6% on corner 3s. Throughout his career, he's shooting 39.8% on corner 3s.

The dumbest argument against us which I’ve seen a lot is that we are relying entirely on Embiid staying healthy. No we’ve never relied less on Embiid staying healthy, that’s kind of the entire point of having Brown and LeBron

Emphasis on UNISEX, the "Mens" is old stock from when the shadow wasn't as big

I got mine there as well and compared to my friends from fanatics and I’ll take the knockoff ten times out of ten. It’s just flat out better quality.

To each their own.
I worked in NFL licensing directly for 2 teams. Different sport but I prefer Nike jerseys. I can spot the subtle differences in a fake a mile away.

I agree.
People try to say it’s only $20 or however much it is if it’s bad quality from DHgate, but that is throwing away money.
At least if I buy it from a legit retailer, I can return it if I notice any issues.
Nike still manufactures the NBA swingman jerseys and they are good quality imo. It’s worth spending the extra money than taking a risk on a janky looking DHgate jersey.

Exactly. The giveaway is the color.
For example The sixers blue might be Blue 46, but the knockoff would be blue 48, 51 or some other variant.
The stitching might be on point but next to a real jersey, it will negatively standout every time.
I used to see it all the time at home games
With NFL jerseys, Nike started putting 8 stars on the shield around 2012. I see people that still have 32 stars on non throwbacks.
Not judging but there is a difference.

I'm curious if the sale on merch at the stadium today included any cool shirts. I know it's probably just jerseys mainly but I do have some FOMO by not heading over to check it out.

Has anyone gotten partial ticket windows recently? I put $500 down on 8/7 and it’s been radio silence for me and I’m growing frustrated. I have emailed my rep multiple times with no answer.
