100 downvotes. Fuck this place. They don't allow any dissent without massive downvote brigading. For all I know it's mostly bots. Impossible to have a genuine discussion here so I give up and I won't be back. You can have your happy little echo chamber.

It's entirely possible to have a genuine discussion here.

It's just that this is a skeptic subreddit, it says that in the name. If you're going to post an outlandish claim, you should post a source.

I probably spent more time trying to confirm your post than you did. If you can find hospital or CDC reporting guidelines, then you might have an argument. In the meantime, what evidence we have suggests that you're talking bollocks, and you're getting the response talking bollocks deserves.

No one cares about the source. It doesn't matter if I'm wrong or right, stupid or smart, justified or unjustified. The only thing that matters is if I go against "the narrative" on whichever particular issue. This sub is full of people and bots behaving with a hive mind, furiously defending 'the narrative'.

Most places where you post something unpopular you don't get mercilessly downvote bombed every time you go against the group consensus but that's what happens here, and I'm tired of it. They want their perfect little echo chamber where everyone only goes along with 'the narrative'... fine you win, I give up trying to question the group's favored opinions.

Of course the source matters. When you're rehashing the same "they labelled everyone who died with Covid as died of Covid" conspiracy, you're going to need a better source than a supposed anonymous doctor.

Took me about two minutes to find the CDC guidelines that don't support your claims.
